Melody Yan

Melody Joined UCD in 2015 as Accounting Director and was promoted to CFO in 2022. She oversees all financial matters of UCD and its affiliates, including accounting, compliance, reporting, and financing operations. She has been actively involved in new project underwriting along with establishing and maintaining construction and permanent loans. She also assists in business strategy and tax planning.

Prior to joining UCD, Melody was senior accountant at Eastern Accounting, a CPA firm located in New York City. She was responsible to provide accounting, taxation and consulting services to clients in different sectors, including real estate, retail, manufacturing and services.

Melody received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Marietta College. She also holds a MS degree in Financial Economics from Ohio University, a MS degree in Accounting from Baruch College, and a MS degree in Taxation also from Baruch College.
